The launch of the world’s first ever Vision Zero Advocate Institute was a landmark part of the event, connecting the energy of the conference to the long term vision of a world with no traffic fatalities or serious injuries.
Welcome to the Vision Zero Advocate Institute. Our goal is to inform and educate on the successful adoption and implementation of Vision Zero.
On the Vision Zero Advocate Institute site, you will find resources to help you understand what Vision Zero is, how it works and what you can do to bring it to your community, government or organization.
The Vision Zero Advocate Institute is excited to announce the pre-release of The Road to Vision Zero, written by Jeffrey Calibaba.
Vision Zero on the Ground
The City of Edmonton is the first Canadian city to adopt Vision Zero, and has experienced success in engineered traffic safety countermeasures, public education campaigns and a comprehensive application of Vision Zero principles.
This video is one of the public outreach campaigns that Edmonton has produced, asking regular citizens important, and sometimes, unexpected questions about their attitudes towards traffic safety.
The Vision Zero Advocate Institute profiles promising countermeasures, campaigns and activities. Interested in launching your own program, or having the Institute profile your work? Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
